Spillage Containment and the Growing Princess

The Little Princess noticed that she has been growing a lot. In fact, she decided she has grown enough to help her Queen Momma around the house a little.

Now, she had watched her Momma do very many loads of laundry, and carefully remembered all the steps. First she tried to open the Fabric Softener, which was easy, but there was very little left, and really, all she could reach was the toilet. The Eldest Brother discovered this small smattering of an attempt and reported her progress to the Queen Mother. The Queen, however, did not have a speedy answer to the Princess that day. Although she had the mess cleaned up, she did not present The Way of Things so that the Princess would try Other big-girl activities.

So it was that the Princess got herself into quite a bit of Trouble shortly afterwards when she attempted to put Liquid Laundry Soap in the Washing Machine. The Soap container was quite full and heavy and the Washer so, so high above the Princess's head, that it is no wonder that a spill occured. The Princess immediately recognized the Wrong Turn of Events and called to the Queen Momma to come quickly. The Queen must have guessed immediately, because this time, she came swiftly - and a good thing, too, because the bottle was very full and still glugging out all over the Royal floor!

This time the Princess was hugged and recognized as a Valient Helper and instructed to wait until she was taller for this task, which she was happy to acknowledge in the face of the Large Spreadage of Soap. The King was quick to point out that dirty laundry would be a wise cleaning tool and had extra towels brought at once.

The Royal Family is happy to Announce that the spillage was not only cleaned up promptly, but barely a drop was wasted due to wise foresight. However, should you happen to visit their Kingdom in the coming days and spill, say, a small cup of water in just the right square footage, be ever so careful that you not learn the meaning of the Littlest Prince's word "slick".

Kitties Slick Blue Glue

The Princess and the Littlest Prince decided to pretend they were kitties. Kitties crawl on the floor and Mew and lap water in bowls. The Lapping part became so fun, that when their Queen Momma came upon the scene, there were eight bowls of water to lap with much spillage. The Kitties had moved on to further adventures leaving the stuffed yellow Cat in charge of lapping the remainder.

Regarding the Littlest Prince's language arts, it has been noticed that the first and second person of "Slip" is actually pronounced "Slick". I slick, you slick, she slip, we slick. Also, any Story relayed by an elder brother requires and equal and similar story on the part of the Littlest Prince. So it is that he has built imaginary Preschools, Best Friends, Classroom activities and even Jokes, all with intricate details in his own vernacular. He relays these to the Queen Mother WHILE the elder brother is talking, not having learned to take turns, yet, so most of the precious details are not heard clearly, much to the Royal Recorder's Dismay.

In other adventures, the Princess has learned where best to apply lipstick. The Queen Mother actually purchased the little girl her own pink raspberry lip gloss, and gave careful instructions. Upon the most recent Sneak-Attack-for-Lipstick, the Princess reverted to her old habits of covering the majority of her face with staining, bright color. But the Queen held her patience and showed the Princess her own artwork in the mirror. The Princess was very sorry and they cleaned up quite a Bit together and applied the smallest amount of lipstick to the lips only. The Queen wanted to note that this, small compromise (of teaching lipstick application) has resulted in a more reserved application of such things as markers and blue glues. Just yesterday, the blue glue was applied to the lip area only, and not the entire Royal Face, which was noted as an improvement, if an incorrect choice of cosmetic.

Royal Note

It has come to the Royal Recorder's Attention that the Littlest Prince is speaking fluedly in an unknown Lingo that utilizes regular vocabulary for his own ends. An attempt shall be made to capture exact quotes for further examination.

Mouse Mysteries

There was a Tragic Misunderstanding in the Kingdom recently, and the Princess was turned into a MOUSE! (The search is still on for the culprit.)

The first sign was the yogurt splops in the bedroom. That happened when she was still girl-sized. Then it was the cereal droppings all over the couch in the living room. Her Queen-Momma was beside herself and ordered the nearest attendents, the left and right hands, to vacuum the disaster immediately. Then it was the chocolate syrup for the Royal Birthday Party poured into a bowl for better lapping.

Finally, the Mouse found the Cake itself, the beautiful, chocolate Pudding Cake reserved for the Queen herself and her Royal Family Party! The Queen had been away on a musical mission in the separate, yet nearby Castle of her Mighty King and hadn't witnessed the full transformation from beautiful girl to sneaky mouse. She saw the results upon her return, however, in the Chocolate Crumbs scattered accross the Royal Kitchen floor. One of the elder Princes is studying to be a detective in his spare time and thoughtfully sampled the crumbs and declared, "it looks and tastes like Cake!"

Upon which all the Royal Family scrambled to find the Cake and discovered that it was, indeed, Missing! The Crumbs, however, tapered off in a particular direction, so the hunt was on. A quick look in the Royal Lounging area proved that the trail never went that way. A quick jog to the Royal Bedroom convinced all Searchers that the Cake never got that far. So the Search was now narrowed, and everyone started examining the hiding places in between. All at once the Cake was found to be hidden amoungst the Royal to-be-folded Laundry Pile! (The Laundry servants having taken a Holiday, of course. The King and Queen are very generous about Holidays.)

The Mouse was no where to be seen, and indeed, the Princess had turned back into a girl again, who had no memory of the incident.

What remained of the Cake was promptly Frosted and Photographed for the Royal Record and Hidden in a High Place that little Mouses cannot reach (as yet) to be Reserved for Evening Private Celebrations.

Pooey Communication

The pretty little Princess with golden curls and precious dimples pooed in her pants.

She was a very smart little ringleted, dimpled little girl, so she thought a bit about what to do. "Yesterday" she thought, "when I dirtied my pants, I wanted to change myself and I took off my pants and my diaper in Dad and Mom's room on their rug. Then I went to show Queen Momma what a big girl I was and she said, 'aaahhh, no, dear, do not take off your pants!' Now I know what I will do!" (I told you, she is a very smart little girl!)

So, she quietly took off her pants and then her diaper, carefully laying the pooey diaper on the little picnic table in the Grand Carpeted Room and then put her pants back on.

Then she presented herself proudly to the Queen Mother and announced that she was pooey.

Her Momma smiled and immediately attended her (having learned the hard way about putting off the little darling!) The two held hands down the hallway until reaching the Royal Changing station. What a surprise her Momma had when she removed her pretty little girl's pants!

She must have been SO proud, but all she said was "oh!"

After Princess had a new diaper and a new pair of pants, the talented little girl brought her Momma to the picnic table and the pooey diaper. "Thank you" said the Queen Mother (she had good manners) "sure!" replied the Princess. "Um, Next Time you could keep your diaper AND pants on when you come tell me you're pooey," added the Queen Mother. "thada tadelippe slkif webbriblk, a;ifeth jksiaa ya, sure!" concluded the Princess.

We shall have to wait and see what she meant by that.

Official Mistake

We have a Correction to make. Apparantly before-mentioned Fiesty Fish was not Missing, actually. Apparantly Fiesty Fish is a good Rock Hider. In a very surprising moment, he came out of hiding for dinner. Since the tank had been remodeled in search of him, everyone was quite amazed and apologies have been made to the Royal Cats.

Flustery Moment

While trying to decide which Book to purchase at the Royal Book Blizzard, the Queen had a flustery moment that is both rare and unsightly. She was pushing the Princess in her Royal Stroller, while keeping an eye on the Littlest Prince, who was trying to pay for his cool Eraser with No Money and decide whether she should allow Prince A to exchange the eraser he already rubbed clean with a newer version while the teller wasn't looking... so there was a good Flustery-moment set-up, for sure. But then the Royal Cell Phone rang and now the Queen was trying to find a phone number she didn't have on said cell phone while pleasantly chatting with the King WHILE looking for a book, pushing the Princess (who was grabbing), keeping an eye on one and the other. At that point everything sorta fell apart momentarily... until the erasers were paid for, the book was chosen and purchased, Prince A was returned to class and the littlest royalty was rounded up towards the exit, at which time the phone number was discovered to not exist and the King was notified and apologized to for being snapped at for no reason apparant to him. The Queen then attempted to gather her witts and move on to errand #2. (Good luck with that!)

Stolen Snack

Somehow one of the Royal Cats got a paw in the tiny whole at the top of the Royal Fish Tank, where a very fiesty fish must have come too close to investigate. So far none of the Royal family has found any trace of the Royal Fish, but fish (generally speaking) can't escape on their own, so conclusions have been made, and the Cats are being eyed suspiciously. Since the Cats are forbade to pace the countertops at all, where the Fish formerly resided, we might not discern which sneaky suspect had a stolen snack.... ever. So, both of them, are, so to speak, "in the dog house."

"I can fix my own hair!"

...the little Princess decided she had grown enough to do her own hair. Didn't her Momma get it a little wet with water first? Then didn't her Momma squirt this Infusium on her head? Couldn't the Princess reach her own head with the conditioner?! She could almost reach the very top of her head, and so she squirted and squirted until the top of her head and her forhead ran with "pretty"... but then it started running into her eyes! She squirted a little more. Momma never let it run in her eyes!! That hurt! The little Princess didn't like dripping in her eyes, so she called for help, which turned quickly into screams! She did not like the Queen Mother's idea of washing the drippings off with water, and screamed about that, too! The King heard her distress and came running to her rescue... "Our darling needs a bath!" he decreed (but not in those words), and so it was the little Princess got an impromptu bath right on the spot. She was quite delighted with that turn of events, and her hair did come out beeyoooootiful, just like she knew it would.

Water Games in November

...the littlest Prince figured out how to squirt water out of a water bottle and "hosed" down the kitchen floor and then led his ringleted sister to run and scream on the water spills. "I woodnt skilt down over, Momma!" He explained when the Queen wanted to mop up the water before her darlings slipped.

Daiper Independence

...learned how to take off her clothes at 2 years of age. Then she learned how to remove her diaper when it was uncomfortable, like, full of poo - twice in the same night. Her Prince brothers discovered her bare-bottomed and oddly odored and called for the Queen Mother to attend at once!

There was a time when a beeeyooootiful princess....
